Fees and Financial Assistance

Student Program Fee: $230
This fee is paid by the youth participants. Payment is due to the State Office by October 20, 2017. Checks should be made payable to “Missouri YMCA Youth and Government” or “MOYAG” and given to your delegation director. Once paid, all fees are non-refundable. Failure to pay fees by stated deadlines will result in student being dropped from the program.

Delegation Fee
Some delegations charge an additional program fee. This fee is often used to pay transportation costs to and from the State Convention.

Spending Money
Students should bring spending money (usually around $50) to cover the costs of meals during the State Convention. One meal is provided for the students: lunch on Saturday. Students may also want refreshment or a snack throughout the day. Vending machines are available at the Capitol.  Students participating in the Civic Leadership Institute will have additional meals provided during the State Convention.

Scholarships
Missouri YMCA Youth in Government offers financial assistance for the State Convention. Students interested in applying for financial assistance must submit a Financial Assistance Application (PDF) by September 25, 2017. Applications received after this date will be considered only if financial assistance funds remain available.
