Below are the forms and applications that are needed to register with Missouri YMCA Youth In Government. Please review each form and view the Key Dates and Deadlines for due dates.
Delegation Roster - [Microsoft Excel File]
Each lead delegation advisor must complete the Delegation Roster and email it to the State Director by September 19, 2007. Instructions are included within the Excel file.
Delegation Grant Application - [Microsoft Word File] - [PDF]
Advisors can apply for financial assistance for their delegation to be used for program fees, transportation, and other delegation expenses. Applications must be received by the State Office by September 19, 2007. There is limited funding available.
Absence Excuse Roster - [Microsoft Excel File]
Each lead delegation advisor must complete the Absence Excuse Roster for their delegation by September 26, 2007. This roster indicates which students will be absent from the Primary Convention. Instructions are included within the Excel file.
Affiliation and Sponsorship Agreement - [PDF]
This agreement is to be completed and signed by the sponsoring YMCA and/or School.
Hotel Room List - [Microsoft Word File]
This list needs to be completed by the Lead Delegation Advisor by November 12, 2007.
Student Participation Agreement - [PDF]
All students participating in Missouri YMCA Youth In Government must sign the Student Participation Agreement, along with their parents or guardians, and return to their delegation advisor. The Student Participation Agreement is due to the State Office by September 19, 2007. If the Student Participation Agreement is not received by this date at the State Office, that student will not be allowed to participate in the program.
Student Medical Form - [PDF]
All students participating in Missouri YMCA Youth In Government must complete the Student Medical Form, have it signed by a parent or guardian, and return it to their delegation advisor. The Student Medical Form is due to the State Office by September 19, 2007. If the Student Medical Form is not received by this date at the State Office, that student will not be allowed to participate in the program.
Scholarship Application - [Microsoft Word File] - [PDF]
Missouri YMCA Youth In Government will be offering scholarships ranging from $50 to $150 to offset program fees. Students interested in applying for a scholarship must complete this application and mail it to the State Office by September 19, 2007.
Candidate Form - [Filing Period Closed]
Any student interested in running for one of the following offices must complete this online form: Attorney General, Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Political Party Chairperson, Political Party Whip, Secretary of State, Speaker of the Clark House, and Speaker of the Lewis House. All candidates must also review the Qualifications and Duties for Office. This application is due by September 19, 2007.
Adult Participation Agreement - [PDF]
All adults volunteering with Missouri YMCA Youth In Government must sign the Adult Participation Agreement and return to their delegation advisor. The Adult Participation Agreement is due to the State Office by October 25, 2007. If the Adult Participation Agreement is not received by this date at the State Office, that adult will not be allowed to volunteer with the program.

Program Applications - [Link to Applications]
Individual Program Applications are web-based forms. Students must complete an online application. Applications to serve as a Legislative Program Leader, Supreme Court Judge, or Print Press Editor are included with their respective Program Applications. These applications are due by September 19, 2007.
Bill Submission - [Link to Online Form]
All Legislative participants must file a bill with the State Office by October 25, 2007. If two students are co-authoring a bill, only one form needs to be completed. Bills will be submitted online. Any bills submitted after the deadline will not be accepted and the student will be dropped from YIG.
Lobbyist Position Paper - [Link to Online Form]
All Lobbyist participants must file a position paper for each issue organization with the State Office by October 25, 2007. This is an online form that lobbyists can use to submit their position papers.
Judicial Trial Team Form - [Link to Online Form]
Each Judicial Trial Group must complete this form to declare their trial teams for the State Convention. We only need one form per trial group. This form is due by October 25, 2007.
