Please click on the link below for an application for the Conference on National Affairs. Applications are due by March 1, 2010. Students must also include a $50 non-refundable deposit with the application.
Submitting an application does not guarantee participation in CONA. Space is limited due to state limits set by the conference. Delegates will be selected to attend based on their participation at the Youth In Government State Convention. If a student is not selected to attend, the $50 deposit will be returned.

The application requires you to answer two questions. Please give some thought to these questions before submitting your application.
- Why would you like to participate in CONA and what do you hope to gain by your participation?
- What national or international issue would you like to focus on for your proposal? What would your justification and proposed solution be in your proposal?
Reference Form
Students applying for CONA must also submit a Reference Form to be completed by a teacher, advisor, counselor, coach, etc. The Reference Form must be received by the YIG State Office by March 1, 2010. Students are required to submit at least one Reference Form, but are allowed to submit more.
