The following list of dates highlights specific events and important deadlines for the YIG program year. The links below are for a PDF file of the Key Dates and Registration Deadlines.

Students: Please review these dates and deadlines when you register for the program. Please note that your advisor may set an earlier deadline than what is stated below. You are required to follow the deadline set by your advisor. Your advisor has the authority to drop you from the program if you fail to meet that deadline.

Registration Deadlines
September 17, 2008 Registration Deadline
  1. Delegation Rosters submitted by delegation advisor
  2. Participation Agreement for each student
  3. Medical Form for each student
  4. Program Applications
  5. Executive and Program Officer Candidate Application
  6. Scholarship and Delegation Grant Applications
  7. Absence Execuse Roster
TBD Regional Training Conferences
  • Two conferences held in state (St. Louis area and Kansas City area)
  • $35 non-refundable program fee per student is due, regardless of whether or not the student is in attendance.
  • Delegation advisors should include all checks in one sealed envelope with delegation name clearly written on outside of envelope.
October 17, 2008 Program Deadline
  1. $150 non-refundable program fee for each student is due to the State Office.
  2. Advisors should include all checks in one envelope for delegation
  3. Legislative Bills are due to State Office.
  4. Lobbyist Position Papers (two papers are required for each lobbyist)
  5. Advisor Registration Form
  6. Advisor Participation Agreement
  7. Advisor Medical Form
October 31, 2008 Program Deadline
  1. Judicial Trial Briefs
  2. Hotel Room Lists – one for each delegation
